Trust and Estate Administration

Representing executors through probate and estate settlement.

One of your greatest concerns about the end of your life may be that your estate be settled to your wishes and with the least possible stress and conflict for your family. We share this priority and often represent executors across a range of situations that they may encounter. We file probate petitions to have wills allowed and represent executors throughout the duration of the probate process, dealing along the way with asset inventorying and valuation, creditor claims, federal and state estate tax compliance, clearing title to real estate, estate distributions, credit shelter, marital and other trust funding, accounting, and petitions for complete settlement. We have relationships with litigation counsel that we can call upon in the event that your estate is involved in a lawsuit.

Representing trustees and beneficiaries.

Currier Ryan also represents trustees in various situations that arise, from simple trustee change documentation to fiduciary issues associated with complex business transactions. We also represent and advise trust beneficiaries.
